Every day, the entire workforce at Rüdinger-Spedition works to become even better. Standing still means falling behind: that's why the Krautheim-based company in Baden-Württemberg leaves nothing to chance. And that's exactly what took the freight forwarder to the final of the “Der große Preis des Mittelstands” competition in 2019. This event is the most prestigious competition for small and medium-sized enterprises between Flensburg in the north and Rosenheim in the south. The Oskar Patzelt Foundation selects the best participants in all federal states. Just reaching the final is a coveted achievement. After all, almost 5,000 companies take part in Germany. This year's motto was “Setting milestones.”

In 2020, Rüdinger Spedition was able to grow once again and win the most coveted spot, position 1, of course. Rüdinger became the “champion.” Even today, you can still see the pride with which company owner Roland Rüdinger presents his trophy in photos. Of course, he mentions that the award is for all employees. Before this could be achieved, according to the entrepreneur from Hohenlohe, “a week's time was needed just for the application.” This was communicated to his team in Krautheim, the warehouse locations around Krautheim, and the many truck drivers on Germany's roads. Roland Rüdinger compares this victory to the Bundesliga in soccer: “Being voted to the top from the field of finalists is an even more rewarding qualification than being content with ‘just being among the best’.” Climbing to first place as champion is the pinnacle of this competition. Only 13 other medium-sized companies in Germany – out of 5,000 – in other industries were able to qualify for this position. For the entire management team around the family-owned freight forwarder, the victory is an incentive to further improve all services even at this level. The fact that the entire team around Roland Rüdinger celebrated together and was visibly proud of the trophy, which made its way through all departments at the Jagst, can be experienced for all eternity in the videos produced.
